Behind every recipe is a partner we've chosen carefully, and in most cases, worked with for years. From the farmers behind our grass-fed New Zealand red meat, to the manufacturing partners who help us freeze-dry it all without compromise. This is where “crafted our New Zealand way” actually starts.

Our grass-fed New Zealand beef and lamb comes from Silver Fern Farms, a relationship built on shared standards. Carbon Net Zero, Toitu amd EUDR certified, held to a high bar for how they treat animals, land and people. 

Sanford supplies the sustainably sourced King Salmon from the crisp New Zealand waters of the South Island. Ocean-farmed, in the frigid waters of the South Island, New Zealand to deliver a nutrient-rich protein that pets love. 

Our grass-fed lamb is sourced from our trusted New Zealand supplier Ovation, raised on open pastures in New Zealand’s natural environment. A premium source of high-quality protein, selected to deliver the nutrition and quality K9 Natural and Feline Natural are known for.

XXX has helped us pioneer freeze-drying since 2006. Operating under HACCP-certified, MPI-approved standards, so every batch allows us to lock in the nutrients of our raw, premium whole-food ingredients, and meet the highest standards in pet nutrition.  

Massey University

For over 15 years, we've worked alongside Massey University, New Zealand's leading school of veterinary science, as an independent research partner. Massey doesn't endorse pet food brands; they test them, working with many companies across the industry. 

Beyond testing our products, we have partnered with Massey on a clinical research program that delves into pet food digestibility, and whole body health indicators to truly understand and validate the impact of high-meat, instinctive diets on pets.

Dr Josie Gollan is one of Australia's most credible and media-savvy veterinarians and one of the most familiar faces in the K9 Feline Natural community. A University of Sydney graduate with First Class Honours and a Master's in Human Nutrition, she has over 15 years of clinical experience from high-performance equine practice to running her own Eastern Suburbs small animal clinic. 

Josie has partnered with K9 Feline Natural for over 10 years, helping pet parents break down the science and understand the value in good nutrition on pet whole-body health, and quality longevity.
