Feline Natural Pouches Feeding Guide

Feline Natural Pouches are a nutritious, highly palatable pâté, made without gelling agents, binders or gums, only fresh New Zealand water for hydration.

They’re conveniently portioned in a mess-free, single-serve pouch, ideal for everyday feeding. Compared to our canned recipes, pouches include lung as an ingredient and slightly less moisture to create a softer pâté, a texture many discerning cats enjoy.

How to feed

Our Pouch range can be served on its own as a complete and balanced meal, or added to your cat’s existing food to boost nutrition and flavour.

Feed as a Complete & Balanced Meal

Simply tear or cut the pouch, squeeze into your cat’s bowl, and serve.

Clean and dispose of the empty pouch after use.

Feed as a Tasty Topper

Squeeze a portion into your cat’s existing food to enhance nutrition and palatability.

Topping is a great way to improve the taste and boost the nutrients to your cat's existing food.

Adult feeding guide

Feeding amounts are a guide only. Individual needs may vary by +/- 50%. Kittens, pregnant or nursing cats may require 2–3 times the adult amount per day

A note on feeding

Every cat is different. Body condition is the best guide for what is right for your pet. We recommend regularly monitoring your cat’s weight and condition, and adjusting feeding amounts if you notice any significant change over time.

Transitioning your pet to our food

We recommend following a 7-10 day transition plan. Start by mixing a small amount into their current food, slowly increasing the amount over 10 days until they enjoy an entire bowl of K9 Feline Natural. Transitioning correctly over this time will give your pet (and their stomach) time to adjust to the high-meat, nutrient-dense content of our food.
